About Us

When you bite into one of our mud pies it’s like stepping back in time into your childhood, filling your senses with fond nostalgic memories. Most people tell us that they remind them of the “no-bake” cookies that their Mom or Grandma had made for them years ago. We founded Sugar Creek Candies in 1997 where we spent months perfecting a family recipe and our “mud pie” was born. We had no idea when we began how successful our mud pies would be, but they quickly developed a following.

In 2007 we moved to Peru Indiana, where we purchased a building located at Grissom Aeroplex, where we continued making mud pies. Our business flourished and our mud pies are now in twenty seven states. We believe that if you are where God wants you to be, He will take care of the rest. Our dream is to continue with our business and produce new items. We get letters and phone calls on a regular basis telling us that our mud pies remind them of home, wherever that might be. To us, that is the highest compliment we could receive. We feel very blessed with our success and know that we could not have done it alone.
